What do you like about tech?

I've loved tech ever since I was a child, when I used to build computers with my dad. I'm always fascinated by how things work, and I'm blown away daily by how tech finds its way in to so many parts of our lives. It's everywhere, and it's amazing!

Have you noticed any changes to live tech events since you joined in the industry?

Since I joined the industry, those who work at live tech events are no longer just ‘promotional staff’, but they are more often tech enthusiasts who love the products and are excited about them outside of work. When I'm not working, I'm always using tech or finding out more about the latest trends, products and breakthroughs.

What has been your favourite tech event so far?

My favourite tech event so far has been Gamescom in Germany. I experienced so much new cutting edge gaming technology and was hugely overwhelmed by the volume and range of different tech on display. There was something for everyone, but too much to see in one visit!

What is your favourite piece of tech / wearable as this moment & why?

My favourite piece of consumer tech at the moment is the LG wallpaper TV. It's only 3.8mm thick which means it's actually thinner than a standard USB connector - and it's beautiful to look at! When it comes to game changers though, it's hard to beat the 3d printer - it's going to change everything.

Where do you see tech going for the future of live events?

I see live events using more and more tech as it becomes something that everyone is comfortable with. Younger generations are digital natives in this day and age, making it quicker, easier and more effective for brands to share messages and experiences with their audiences.
