The Vanishing Act X Wired Live

Our Experience Engineers are out at Wired Live as I type working with Found Studio on their newest room-scale VR experience, The Vanishing Act as part of The Networking and Test Lab. Wired Live brings the best of ideas, business, technology and design together over three days and we’re lucky enough to be part of this year’s show.
The Vanishing Act plunges participants into a virtual world that they can walk around and explore, nudged in the right direction by visual cues and a voiceover. Found’s VR experiences are inspired by immersive experiences such as Punchdrunk and this particular experience tells the story of a scientist who has digitised his memories and allows the user to explore them. Once you put the headset on you are tasked with exploring saved memories to uncover information about the scientist’s story and delve in to his stories.
